While searching for something to extract what's inside ".vpk" files in EverQuest 2, I came across this:

Eq2VpkTool-1.2.3.zip download - 2shared

Works good and fast, but do read the ReadMe.txt file first so you get an explanation as to why you open a vpl file to get to the vpk files in your Everquest 2 directory.
