Breaking the princess:

You play as Hugar a warrior in a backwater mining town. Life was always dangerous that far from civilization but it was rewarding. That all changed when Harmony, a daughter of the emperor, rolled into town and wrecked everything. Now, the town is on the verge of collapse and the only one who can stand up to her is you. You'll have to teach the princess and her retinue some manners... And some humility.

The main gameplay will be tower defence and resource management. You’ll have to rebuild the town’s defences so that you’ll be able to stand up to more and more powerful monsters.

You will play as a male news co-anchor, Garrick Reynolds. You and your female co-host (Cassandra Hamilton) are both alphas that clawed your ways to where you are now. The new problem is that the station is getting bought by a big news corporation and there will only be one anchor when the sale goes down. Both you and your colleague will try to sabotage each other to get that coveted spot. Maybe your opponent’s college aged daughter would be a good place to start.

The main gameplay will consist of a build your deck kind of system. You’ll start with a basic set of cards and the events that you encounter, the sex scenes that you’ll discover, and the decision you make will add or remove cards from your deck. You’ll also be able to mess with your co-anchor’s deck but she’ll get to do the same in return.

- New splash screen.
- "FreshMeat" event now has a chance to succeed without the Max ally.
- Changed the "risky business" card's odds. All stages are now 40% win, 60 lose.
- Rest event now gives a flat 20 energy.
- Lowered the energy gains in town. It was too easy to go forever. Balanced the events. Removing from some and adding to others.
- Boosted the granny event in the gym. Lowered the energy cost from 30 to 25 and gives an additional 5 money.
- Lowered the "Act like a bimbo" card’s blackmail cost.
- Upped the "Ass grab++" card’s cost by 5.
- Removed the energy cost of the "Walk of shame+" and "Walk of shame++" cards. Upped the blackmail cost of "Walk of shame+" by 5.
- Adjusted the "Rumors" card’s cost and effectiveness. A bit cheaper and less impact as it was too easy to boost the influence hit.
- After the Cassandra event where she apologizes to Max, his ally card changes from removing 10 of her glory to giving you 30 money.
- Chad can now be tapped infinitely for Casandra’s “intern” card purposes.
- Added Emily events in town. First, they will be bad but when you start to tame her personally, they will turn into the best events.

Hey everyone!

I took a much needed week of vacation this month. I always forget that I need one in April every year but I managed to remember when I started to slow down in my work. I now feel invigorated and I managed to catch up on a bunch of chores that had fallen to the wayside. ^_^

- The Cassandra and Tiffany panels looked pretty drab so they were updated.
- Added a button to the help screen to be able to see your deck at any time.
- The game now starts in a maximized screen and can go fullscreen.
- On special events, made sure that the goal is clearly stated during the fight. Your numbers start red and turn green to show you that you are currently winning.
- When getting ally events after you have them in the bag, they now give a resource keyed to their character.

Hey everyone!

The last build of News desk is out!

The thing that took the longest to figure out was definitely the android 15 bug. When I finally managed to find one of my friends who had one to test on, I kicked its butt! The game now works on all kinds of screen sizes and any versions.

My lovely wife helped with a few graphical touches and a couple of talking puppet outfits.

This should be the last build for News desk unless someone finds a bug that needs fixing. Look hard, guys! ^_^

Next month, I was supposed to be putting the game on Steam but I’ll wait a bit since they are having some censure problems right now. Instead, I’ll start playing Soldier’s life and make my plans on what to improve on. My lovely wife is already back to making art for it.

Hey everyone!

This month, I played Soldier’s life front to back twice to make the list of things to change and add. One of the biggest things to add will be much more events during the sorties. Twice or even three times the amount of events would really hit the spot.

When I started to make changes, I also realized how old Soldier’s life’s code was. Lol! I had to spend some time updating some stuff and there is probably more to do at a later date.

My lovely wife did a lot of work for us. Finished the stock and the Walk around town CGs.

Next month, I am going to check out steam to start that process and will also do more work on Soldier’s life. It will be more on the game rather than the back end from now on. Will most likely update some more code too.

Hey everyone!

This month went pretty well! I continued to update and upgrade Soldier’s life and my lovely wife made us some more CGs. ^_^

I made a lot of little changes to game balance. Especially when it comes to army morale. I found that that value didn’t change enough during sorties so I tweaked it.

Another big change is that now, whenever you fail a skill roll, you’ll get a small amount of XP in that skill as Payton learns from his mistakes.

Next month, I am going to take some time off for my birthday but around that, I’m going to start adding new events.

I am also going to start putting things on Steam!

Hey everyone!

This update is all about events! I found that they repeated too much when you did a sortie with your army so I added a bunch to give variety.

Like usual, each battle events have their own unique challenges to overcome, the other events make the morale move up or down more to make the stat matter and I even got to write some more smut for some of them. It had been a while that I got to write since I’ve been updating older games so I wondered if I would still be up for it but I am proud of the results. ^_^

My lovely wife has been hard at work and got us a bunch more CGs to enjoy the game even more.

Next month, I’m probably going to do a few more events but I’ll also continue down the list of fixes and tweaks I have for the game.
