- Lots of different enemies, mostly Aliens, but also human soldiers sometimes holding knives.
- Certain Alien bosses can grab you and toss you or hit you with their tongue or body. Another boss is a soldier-operated machine that can grab and flame you.

- Lieutenant Kurosawa has the least power but is also the most skillful available character.
