Hey, so i'm considering teaching myself how to program, and wanted to know which program is used for hounds of the blade. I like the sprites and animation of that game too so i figured that it would be the one worth learning if i wanted to make a game of my own :D

i am not sure what program the game is made in, but i think the figures are made in Poser or maybe DAZ Studio. DAZ Studio is free so check it out!

Okay, so i figured out that the game is made in gamemaker studio and that he uses Daz studio (as you said eyeteeth), now the issue is how do i make these sprites? Well im going to attempt to draw them in blender lol

To turn 3d models into sprites, it generally involves a lot of posing and screenshots.

with poser you can render a picture and then export it as a png with a transparent background. probably you can also do that with DAZ studio.
