I could try messing with the values in flash, but I'm useless at coding.

You offered the idea. The modders so far have refused. Unless someone else likes it, that's "The End".
No one is required to take user's ideas and make them. If no one wants to make this mod, then you are shit out of luck. Deal with it.

I've said this before but users request stuff and never contribute. So if a modder denies a request then users have no right to bitch about it.
This is just the attitude rcj had when he thought we were denying him content.
If you want to see a mod, ask nicely and persevere.
Don't lash out after the first negative response, that will just make it less likely.

IMO this is an incredibly easy mod to implement, and if you look around you'll see that I have even left hints on the method.
If you're even slightly interested in this mod, direct that enthusiasm in to actually coding it yourself instead of throwing out complaints.

Not finished yet. The bit that pisses (hah) me off the most is the fact that these other mods have been developed for users but because it doesn't satisfy a user's preference they feel the need to bring unrelated crap into it and take a shot.

Modders are also relatively new, they aren't about to be at your beck and call.
Most of them ask me for tips, I try to help regardless of content because I contribute.
Let me ask you, what have you done that you'll target any of us here?
