Hey everyone!

After taking a look around I decided to start sharing the game on Undertow as well. I'm sure that you'll have a great time with Succu-chan while she learns all your deepest desires.
I'll do my best to keep you all updated!

Virtual Succubus is a lewd JOI (Jerk Off Instructions) PC & Android game focused around being told how to please yourself.
  • Enter a contract with your very own Succu-chan, offering her complete control over your urges. She'll learn about you, and decide what you need to do to earn your release.
  • Inspiration from JOI videos, CockHero, and instruction-based teases/games.
  • Custom passcode entry screen before anything lewd shows
  • Cross-session persistence. The game changes based on what it knows of your endurance, preference, and prior events. Succu-chan will remember that!
  • Procedurally generated AI, have a different experience every time. Mood and arousal systems that change what tasks she gives you. Dynamic difficulty based on your past successes and failures.
  • Tons of content customization. Accessories/toys and many kinky fetishes supported, with options to turn most of them on and off. Short->Very long sessions, Silent/Home Alone modes, and more!
  • Unique mechanics and minigames based on touchscreens and accelerometers (for mobile). Give Succu-chan oral, etc.
  • Tasks and challenges for you to complete between sessions! Being Succu-chan's favorite toy takes some commitment.
  • Chastity implementation. Give Succu-chan full control of your release. She'll still want to see you often, though

Hey!

Just released a new version of VS, with the last of what I’d consider to be the most requested features on the roadmap.
With this update, the game is now entering a refinement stage of development, where I’ll be focusing on iterating upon existing features based on community feedback as much as I can.

We also recently reached 1,000 patrons, which is thoroughly incredible! I’m very thankful to those of you that have been playing, commenting, and most of all providing feedback.

Back this month with another version of Virtual Succubus, including a whole lot of QoL changes. Feedback’s especially important to me this month as the next update will be primarily centered around expanding and refining current features before moving on to new ones, so please let me know your thoughts!

  • Hair color changes, with a system similar to outfits on a longer time scale.
  • Custom naming
  • Rework of save data, including a simple export/import for backups or transfering between platforms.
  • Toggle presets

Before anything else, lemme say I might not be the target audience for this one. Femdom's not always my thing (takes a certain kind of roleplaying), and I've never gotten much from JOI vids. But I saw this had an empty thread, so I thought I'd give it a shot - and it's not bad! Definitely good enough to not deserve an empty thread, heh.

First, what I liked. The graphics are pretty good, and I like Succu-chan's design. The rework looks at least as good as the old one IMO. The backgrounds are nice too, with some good depth and fitting designs/colors. Not much in the way of sound yet, but at least the VA's a cutie :) Some of the tasks are pretty creative, and I think the general flow of the game is solid. My favorite thing, though, was that when I inevitably said "screw it" and started disobeying repeatedly, Succu-chan got...sad? I wasn't expecting that ****, lol. Actually guilted me back into doing my tasks for a minute.

My biggest complaint about the game - and again, I'm not big into JOI - is that for the most part, the tasks get repetitive quickly. There's only so many ways you can say "go at your junk", and I ran into a couple repeats during the 20-minute session. I didn't really see much difference between a task, a reward and a punishment (except for the pinching-over-and-over thing. That was brutal, lol). I still stayed engaged through most of the game, but the endurance test at the end just went on way too long. I'm sure that's by design, since it's an endurance test and all...but instead of keeping me hooked, it just made me lose interest. I also feel like I've already seen everything in the demo; it'd be nice if a few toggles were enabled so I could come back and experiment.

What would help this most for me, though, would be some more role-playing. I would've really liked some dialogue - and especially an intro, rather than just getting thrown into the first task. I'd have also liked to have more visuals to work with; Succu-chan pretty much stands/lays there the whole time, which isn't too exciting. I know animations are still in development, but just seeing her in some skimpier outfits would've helped keep me hooked.

...sorry if this ended up kinda negative, heh. But remember, I may not be this game's audience. I'm just a guy who saw a game that needed feedback, tried it, and found enough things I liked about it to justify saying what I didn't. So good work, and I'll do my best to keep an eye on this!

Was this because you failed the session, and she offered you to compensate? Or was this the default edging challenge?

The demo isn't intended for repeat sessions, it's simply a demo of how the game works (that still fulfills the.. original purpose)

It was because I failed the session, lol. I think it said she was "not too pleased".

Good point about the demo being, well, a demo. It's true that most are designed to be fully explored in under an hour, and few are meant to be rerun endlessly. It didn't show me enough of the game to make me want to buy in - but for fans of the genre, it probably does. (In fact, based on your Patreon, it already has! You're obviously not just posting this here, heh. Where else you at?)

Some more good points on the FAQ page. I will say I didn't mean voice-acted dialogue - I only meant text, which would be much easier to implement. Still, just writing it all might take a lot of time at this point...especially if you did something new for all 325+ tasks :oops:

Saving the good stuff for later is also understandable - but there's a problem. With minimal visual and audio cues, there was nothing to "inspire" me during the tasks. I had to think about other porny games/art instead...which made me think "well why aren't I just playing/looking at that?", lol. It might be another audience thing, I dunno.

Everyone will always want more eye candy for sure, yet it's near impossible to make enough content for a game to stay replayable on the long term. And that's the final goal of this game; make something that provides value to people on the long term, instead of being a different form of porn as a game, it's more intended to be a continuously used app with a lot of different systems to introduce variety.

I prefer to focus on mechanical variety rather than content variety, because it's a far more efficient use of time - most games that focus on art assets such as animations etc will often only be worth playing through a few times (or once) in total because it simply takes too long to make said assets. Certainly, this is pretty unusual for a porn game, won't be appealing to everyone, and there's still room to improve the eye candy even within this design mindset, but that's the gist of why you may not be seeing that much right now.

Yeah, definitely one of the more technical approaches to a porn game I've seen. Seems to be working for you though :) And I can relate with you on the art assets: I'm a decent writer, but a terrible artist. That works fine for smut stories, but not so much for games; whenever I need to do visuals, it takes me forever just to make them halfway acceptable. So I can see where you're coming from there.

0.11 already, versions sure go by quickly. This month’s version had a focus on improving as many existing features as I could, to refine the game and make it as fun as it can be with its existing content.

For that, I needed feedback, and patrons sure provided it!

Based on the ratings I got from the survey I ran last month, I made a long list of the most important features to the community, figured out what needed the most change based on ratings, etc. Afterwards, I dug through the insane amount of suggestions and feedback text left for each of those features, and implemented improvements and suggestions the best I could with the time I had.

I think it’s a pretty huge improvement overall already, and I’m not done improving things based on all this feedback. I hope you all enjoy the changes and improvements.

No nut november participant? No problem, just turn on Bad Endings + Orgasm Denial (and optionally, chastity!) and give your self control a real challenge!
