This is the first hair Ive ever posted... or even made. Although, I intend to make all the hairs for the SOA requests as I want them as well.

Anyways, here is Suguha.

I had a little extra time on my hands so I went ahead and did Lyfa too.

Also, added recommended settings.

Finished Lizbeth. All these are done in illustrator... so if you have any pointers/obvious issues/suggestions I can easily make edits.

Was going to do Asuna when I realized that it definitely requires being done dynamically...

brb as a learn how to do this. Shouldn't be hard...

So.. I learned how to make dynamic hairs! Fixed a silly layering problem and feel that, overall, I improved upon the original static hair. This test was done on Lyfa since I wasn't sure how to go about Asuna yet given that I wanted to make only a dynamic hair.

Anyways, nobody has said anything about these SAO hairs yet, so I'm going to put Asuna on the back-burner until there is more apparent interest.

EDIT:: Made some changes to the Leyfa.swf and added a background. For the 22 ppl who already dl'ed the old version, the one attached now is an update! ;)

Thanks brother. I've done flash dev for a while so it wasnt too hard to make the switch to this. I require good refs to work though :(

I think most of us require good references. It's hard to envision how the original artists designs would look unless your a serious fan of the show, so it's kind of expected. If what you've done so far is a hint of your talent though, I hope you pick up more references when you're done here and work towards becoming an artist. :D

Although, before anything else gets finished I'm detouring on a costume build for Lyfa... just to finish up her since I've come so far already.

I'm running into a couple snags design wise however. It seems her costume is a bit to intricate for the current system in place. Need to make concessions on the design side - needless to say, not happy. It seems some of the issues would be very easy fixes, but that would be on Kona to do.

I just watched it as well -- digging the gig. There are only 2 more episodes in this season (I think), so I'm pretty certain that were going to see the majority of the resolution in the 2nd season. I live in Japan so I get to see it air on cable here.

As far as the mod is concerned, I'm an unhealthy perfectionist. I'm still not satisfied with the hairs I've put out, but I'm chalking them up as practice pieces for now. The costume mod I'm putting together is strictly vanilla, so I won't be able to add wings or the sorts. Also, I'm having an intense amount of difficulty getting the shoulder to resolve correctly. It has to do with the way Kona made the arm mesh load; I really wish that I could overwrite certain layer properties. If I could get the loading variables for the different arm positions I could easily program in different animations for each one.

As for right now, not to leave you all in the dark, I'll post some progress screenshots:
