Superheroine Undergarments (1 Viewer)

Kind of a random discussion I wanted to bring up, but why is it that superheroines never wear bras or panties? I know most of the time you see a superheroine, it's off of an erotic film and it's a faster way to get to the action, but it just doesn't make sense to me.

Someone once said on the forums here that it's somewhat of a plot device: often superheroines don't do it because they feel they are too powerful to be taken down by any man trying to get in their pants. While I can see that, I'd assume she would still wear something to keep up appearances and be a model citizen in society, or at least put some underwear on so the baddies don't fantasize about her whenever she crashes through the building (the ceiling, of course). I honestly prefer it when superheroines are wearing something underneath their costume because it at least seems like they're actually trying to be a hero instead of asking to be raped. Of course, it depends on the superheroine doing the heroics, but erotic films don't have time (or make time for that matter) to develop the personality of each character, so it just looks to me like most of them are trying to be dominated.

So, how do you feel about the subject, and which do you like best?

I've always been a fan of underwear at the best of times.

One of my friends Emma has a really authentic Supergirl outfit, that came with a near pencil thin thong and a pretty small bra, so I sort of see your point.

Only with superherione porn, I assume that the fact they don't have any on is considered "Sexy", but of course they are going to have underwear on in Justice League or something.

That's kind of what I figured. Whether it's sexy to someone or not, it ruins the picture of a superheroine. If a supervillaness, or even a anti-heroine doesn't wear panties, that's fine to me. It comes as stupid to me when the innocent virgin superheroine comes through the door with no underwear. Not that I stop enjoying it, I just enjoy it much less. Believability is important to me in videos like that.

Are you talking of content of a certain side or superheroines in general?
I've never really thought about it, but e.g. Supergirl surely wears something underneath her mini skirt, Wonder Woman basically runs around in her underwear and a kidney warmer. Also underwear visible under "normal" clothes might draw too much attention to these body parts, so the drawers decided to leave out this detail.

Personally I prefer underwear version too, small imperfections of the body can be corrected or masked and dunno, seeing those body parts right from the start somewhat spoils the fun.

I'm mainly talking about erotic superheroines. I kind of assumed that superheroines such as Wonder Woman would wear undergarments.

I would assume it's mostly because they plan on getting naked anyway? Or they're worried about visible panty lines since they're usually wearing skin tight costumes. I think there are a lot of things taking away from the believability of a lot of erotic superheroine videos besides their underwear situation though. For me it's the setting. >.>

I don't know about anime. Unless you're talking about ecchi, then it never gets any further than panties.

Any anime heroine usually wears undergarments, don't they?

As you know that most of hentai animes are of Japanese,
and there are no undergarments in Japanese traditional ware
"kimono" for females.
Old/traditional style Japanese females did not ware undergarments.

In 1932 a fire accident happened in department store "SHIRAKIYA",
and in this accident females in kimono tryed to escape with rope
but so many were fall down and dead because they released rope
not to show inner kimono.

And after this accident , so many girls started to ware
undergarments under kimono...:yuush:

But some females ware kimono without undergarments
because lines of undergarments are not loved . :yaeh am not durnk:

It's a good quiestion. Looking at their outfits I guess most of them were going commando. Imagine Wonder Woman with bra under her outfits - it simply doesn't work. Just like panties. Some outfits are really a lingerie and noting else (just like Psylocke or old Storm costume).

Hi, this seems about the best thread I've found to drop an opening post in, so hi all and here's my take on it.

I agree on the idea of underwear for superheroines. Where it gets interesting is a lot of heroines out there in popular media really aren't wearing too much more than underwear to begin. Wonder Woman of course as the classic example, we're talking a character that wears go-go boots, a bustier and panties to fight crime in. A great deal of other heroines, not too big on pants either. Huntress, Zatana, Black Canary, Storm...pretty much fishnets and panties or just panties. Even if the trademark bottoms for a given superheroine are not underwear, they are in terms of style or coverage effectively underwear.

My personal take on it is I make custom or original heroines that are all about underwear. Most of them fight topless, and are defeat-prone and prone to Ryona scenarios. Usually, undergarment are not needed, because my heroines fight crime in their them. My primary heroine wears nothing but plastic underpants at the worst of times.
