What do I need to do in order to use a modded skin?

skin mod? you should be more specific next time.

There are two kind of mods - official (work from SDT menu's modding tab) & unofficial (work from ModGuy's mod loader).

Chances are good that you need to use ModGuy's loader.

Wait, are you asking how skin codes work ? If so, there's no mod needed.
