KlebsTAQ wasn't exaggerating.

Just mosey over to the PSO2 subreddit, it's a regular sh*tstorm right now.

I've been holding of the download for the NA version for now as there are a plethora of problems related to it, mostly caused by that crappy Microsoft Store.

Been dying to install the game and try out the nude patch but not with PSO2 in it's current state.

yeah. it's really bad right now. you can't do 4k on PC without editing the game files to force it, and i have to limit the number of players on screen to 5 to even be able to walk around in the ship without lag. it's a mess right now.

Wow, i did not know about the lag in the lobby.

So even if you somehow manage to jump through all the hoops required to install and start the game, it's still unplayable?

Just great, what a disaster of a launch.

New to this games modding scene, but it looks abundant! Do I have to remove my outerwear in order to be fully nude?

I used PSO2 Japanese Community Nude Mod Installer rev.8 | PSO2 Mod DB

Getting this when I look at my character without basewear:

Again I got no outfit on. Since I'm new to the game, I don't have anything but the default basewear (Newman base F), and innerwear (Newman Inner F).

Almost seems like I'm missing a texture, but the installer seemed to have a choice at least of the base textures.

Here's a list of all the files I overrided in the win32 folder:

I did make a new character, and it seemed to work. But can't get it to work with my current character.

Any ideas? Thank you :D

BlackFlame BlackFlame Thanks a ton, that did the trick. Only prob now is there's a neck gap, and maybe a normal/alpha channel problem between the chest and the shoulders. Trying to find a better base body, and texture but no luck :(

Base body like this would be nice, minus the tats :D:

Edit:

Wow apparently in JP-PSO2 they sell an accessory that makes your breasts bigger LOL.

As far as the base body goes, I have no idea on that one. Been looking for it for abit now. Assuming its buried on someones twitter, unless they are using a reshade

These "seams" are common. Things like the morphology of player's character and the way the original 3D model is edited generate such things. And for the neck issue, the character is so tall I'm not surprised this occured. Silvist, can you try to shorten her just to see what happens ?

KlebsTAQ KlebsTAQ - Yea I'll try to shorten and see what happens. Only reason I thought it might have been alpha/normal map, is I've seen problems in the past with UVmaps not being done properly. Either that or seams not being welded on the mesh.

I should probably look around for some scripts to see about editing the body myself. I'm assuming its probably a blender script though...lol (sorry I prefer 3ds max :P).

Okay tried the smallest height:

Tested thin and shortest as possible:

Completely different preset, and skin tone. Tried to give you a closeup of the seam.

s4.png

Also found another odd thing, I believe on the front of her neck is the logo that's supposed to go on the outerwear LOL.

As you can see the gap is gone, but it reappears when I leave the salon. I'm assuming its related to the fact its somehow related to the outfit.

might not help, but as a suggestion, can you attempt downloading the 4.3.11 skin from here and see if that helps at all with your issue? As I havent noticed any seams with it yet, but I haven't checked everything either.

Just installs to the win32 folder, not the _na one if you do go this route.

can someone point me to a guide to install mods and the file location of the game from microsoft store

If you still need some assistance, most mods will go into the pso2_bin\data\win32 folder.
As far as install location, that's pretty much up to where you installed it to, but the proper folder structure is something like

C:\Program Files\ModifiableWindowsApps\pso2_bin.

That should point you into the right direction. If it doesn't replace anything, remove it from the win32 folder and place it in the _na folder in an attempt to overwrite stuff. Be sure to be using the tweaker aswell, otherwise it'll patch over anything you attempt to mod.

BlackFlame BlackFlame Thanks for the help :D

No problem at all, and always happy to help when I can.
