Need help getting started. (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys, I'm really new to this and Have absolutely no Idea how the fuck to get this started.
If I could get some help on a few things that would be really awesome.
1. What program should I use to run the game?
2. What is this mod loader program? where can I download, how Can I use it to play mods with the game?
3. What program is recommended for drawing mods? I'd like to draw some when I've learnt the first 2 steps. (bout the one thing I can do on a computer)

Inside the download is a [Loader.swf] file. Open it.
A good number of mods will work with regular SDT but the Loader can use everything including specific Loader mods.

Thank you, thank you and thank you. This was so much help. I've downloaded and got everything working now, Also downloaded Anon's Archive. My only one remaining question, and i've seen a few posts about similar issues but couldn't find and answer, I cant seem to save my characters when I edit them with the loader and edit them in game aswell. It will ask me for manual game paths which no matter what I type don't work. I know that if I make a character purely from Mod manager that it will save in the tab that appears with the loader, but If I use in game edits aswell it doesnt seem to save. Any help much appreciated!

EDIT**: Also having some trouble with the Mod Loader now.. I got static hair to work, But nothing else seems to work... I'm following Anons Mod loader guide, It will load the hair but any other changes I make dont seem to load.

Don't do this, straight out of the guide:

Due to the nature of Kona's saving format it is not useful to use the built in save.
As such the loader uses local folders to manage characters.

I seem to be in a similar situation! After (recently) joining, i've downloaded the modder and finally gotten my shit straightened out... Mostly. I've had quite a bit of experience with these mod loader program stuff, but i've finally hit a wall with this one. I've done everything i can think of, and i've searched almost every topic i can find, and this is me tapping out. I need some help.

My problem:
Started Loader.swf
Flash projector starts (the latest version, downloaded today)
Error loading SDT.SWF :(

I've tried deleting my files, and re-downloading them again and I've tried the mirror link. I can use sdt.swf just fine with Flash 11, but when i start up loader.swf i get the error message.

I haven't touched any settings, or any other files, so it's not like i scrambled a file somewhere and mucked it all up. It's the vanilla Modloader

I extracted the files from the zip, and BAM! Bob's my uncle!

This is soooo embarrassing!

Ignore me! this usually happens. I ask others for help after hours of toiling and pondering, and as soon as i ask, i solve the problem on my own.

Sorry for almost wasting your time! I'll leave this here just in case anybody is a ditz and forgets to unzip the folder lol

if you get further stuck, there's currently a video tutorial link in my signature of using the loader.
if it takes hours of turmoil to solve the issue of unzipping the download, the 30 minute walkthrough might be worth the trouble xD
