Yeah, I'd like to eventually make them fully nude, but I'm going to take a break for a bit.


Yeah changing back Mileena's face is doable. The MKX one however would be a lot of work since I would that model, then do a whole bunch of texture edits to make it match the style of MK9. Probably more effort than I care for at the moment.


It's not a fix for a glitch necessarily. It was an intentional thing done by the developers for some reason (probably to reduce rendering of objects not on screen). If you use a free camera mod, you will find that the victim will disappear after a few moments. You can edit the fatality files to prevent this from happening. This doesn't always work though, as sometimes things get reset and it looks weird.

Also, I forgot to mention one of my favorite changes to the fatalities I made. Scorpion's alternate:

I used the same method for X-rays. There are hide actor settings and I had to hide the meat model and unhide the base model. You can also use this to prevent bodies from disappearing after a fataility. The fatality animations are a bit weird though. Once the main animation ends, those models are hidden, and a new model unhides with the death animation loop. I also had to make some edits to the facial animations which was a complicated process of exporting animation blend files and reimporting them into the file .

In other news. Topless Kitana and Sonya are almost done. Also making good progress on maskless Skarlet.

I do not know about his whereabouts, but I am aware he has completed more mods for Skarlet and Sonya and has only released it privately to a few people like RayvenAlrinth.
where exactly does he publish his work now ?,if you know, please drop the link

Hello,

I rather like Kitana's and Sonya's alt costumes (especially after Shnapple made those absolutely fantastic edits!), so rather than constantly having to move files back and forth I spent a while to learn how to mod the files to act like DLC.


Install these like Jade's and Mileena's topless costumes.

I have questions for shnapple, so I hope one day they return. I wonder if the chest flattening (more accurately, only the right side going flat) when characters are horizontal is caused by the model itself or if it can be fixed with changing variables using the UPK like in his tutorials?

If anyone has any clue on how to stop or remove the dark fade of the screen after the end of a fight and the menu comes up, I'm all ears.
Yes indeed you can change the physics variables using UPK explorer. It has nothing to do with the model and is completely dependent on the variables. You should be able to modify them using my tutorial.

I am so sorry to enjoying your mod that was leaked, but your work is really amazing. The bouncing physics work so well.

Now I am curious is it hard to mod existing mesh and just swapping the head only, such as flesh pit with sonya head etc.

Yeah, I would like to second Herai and say that everything you've released has been spectacular and I am very VERY excited for you to release these new ones.

And just to be clear when I mentioned the breast physics behaviors, that happens on default models too and with different characters. Reading back however it could have been taken the wrong way cause of how I wrote it. I wasn't talking about the modded models.

also, I accidentaly deleted previous leaked mod, so I can only doing some gifs only to past mod again. I am sad.

It's not too big of a deal that it leaked.. I mostly just wanted to fix some known problems with it and be the one to share it myself. I just really haven't gotten around to it because life is too busy and I have too many projects going on. I'm working on this, adding breast physics to MK1, some custom nude mods for MK1, and there's my pixiv animations that I haven't been keeping up with. Carpal tunnel isn't helping either.

A full on nude mod for MK9 would be great, but hard to say if I can get around to that. MK9 is a serious pain to mod. The physics issues are largely inherent to MK9's physics system, sometimes they act up and certain physics values don't play nice. In some cases, such as Mileena's second fatality, the physics can be fixed by modifying the fatality itself. If I recall correctly, there is some kind of physics reset flag that you can call during an animation.

And thank you guys for the kind words, sorry I've haven't been able to keep up.

So I got some time to play with that whole boob flattening thing. Yeah you can fix it by changing some variables in the MKMeshClothDescriptor objects like in your tutorial.

Having a low ClothStretchStiffness generally makes them sink into the chest. Though they wiggle around like its DOA set to OMG. So tradeoffs. I found that there were a few ways to stop them from sinking into the chest too heavily while keeping some wiggle by either reducing the Gravity or greatly upping the Thickness (doubling it or more depending on how low the stretch is). I'm happy with my options, preferring them to be perky and pretty much fake looking by choosing defaults in the stretch Stiffness (around .08) and turning off the gravity on them.

Now I'm trying to go through my favorite fatalities to stop the bodies from disappearing. Got Ermac's "head over splatter" after much trial and error.
And I tried to see what you were talking about for Mileena's, but even after disabling all of the flags for hers, the body still disappears. So that's about as far as my knowledge takes me for that one. But what I've seen from the split second before the upper body disappears, modifying the boob physics variables works, but would unfortunately require going into every character file separately. Ugh.

My holy grail now would be finding something that would disable the screen darkening on either the pause menu or the after-fight menu.

and yeah pretty much you need to do the stuff to each character.

Never thought to add seconds to it. It seems pretty obvious if you look at it, huh? I just kinda thought it would crash the game or something if there was no animation but things stuck around. Thank you again!

MK9Hook has a disable HUD feature, the screen darkening can also be disabled with it but I think it depends on game version.
