    I'm referring to the one form here :
    http://www.sdtmods.com/index.php?topic=115.msg26612#msg26612

    He said "FYI the attatched folder can be used in modguy's loader for maximum effectiveness. If you want to get the cat tail to change colors you will have to manually load the registerAll4HueShift mod seoerately. It is in the folder so all you will have to do is go to the swf import button in the modding tab and open it."
    I did just that but it remains black with the "Mod loading failed" and nothing seems to work. It always just seems to remain black.

    Nice one on the link, made solving this easier.
    That hue register mod isn't nearly as good as sby's autohuereg:

    Place that in the loader $INIT$ folder, making sure to add it to the Mods.txt so it gets loaded automatically.
    You can confirm this by observing the "autohuereg loaded" status message in the top right upon entering the game.

    After this, we need to adjust the HueData.txt file to something like this:

    Code:
    L3::cat_tail.swf;1,1,1,1,221.45,124,153.95,255
    Keep in mind that the code may be slightly different for you depending on what you've got loaded at the time.
