I'm not sure how to use setting.txt. (1 Viewer)

I've read the tutorial by anonymous but I'm still not quite sure how to change the settings and apply the changes in game. Do I simply change the text in the settings.txt file or do I have to use the mod manager or loader. The tutorial didn't make it very clear.

Yeah, just change the values in the settings.txt, it really is that simple.

Attached the explanation file of what that does what that comes with the loader too.

Pretty sure I spelled out mostly everything from 3.8b.

Yes... you need to modify the settings.txt and then click File>Save.
Yes... you need to use the Loader.
No.... you don't need to use the Mod Manager, it has nothing to do with Settings.txt.
