So I thought I'd have a shot at designing costumes. I have Flash CC and I'm using Konashion's Modding Template. I've been reading the Synonymous guide - [Costume Modding Tutorial] [An Easy Visual Guide]
I'm looking for some general advice on how to approach costume design based on the way the template works. In the "Top Template" there are many layers and I need to have seperate images on each of these layers right? So that the back section of the top fits on the "Back" template, chest fits on "Chest" etc. So can I draw the whole top on one layer and then split it up into these different sections afterwards? I hope my questions are making sense. I guess I'm just looking for someone who knows what they're doing to tell me their approach to designing a top, in terms of organising the layers.
