Goiken Muyou 2 [Playstation]
Note : This game was released exclusively in Japan, but is easily playable through a PSX emulator.

Published : 1998
Genre : Fighting
Ryona rating : 3/5

Ryona:
  • Four distinctive female characters out of a roster of ten fighters and one boss. There is also one secret character in the game - a female manikin.
  • Three different costumes per character.
  • Good abundance of moves per character, but some are repeated amongst them.
  • Certain fighters have several grabs, including back-, down- and even side-grabs, and a few can even lift an opponent from the ground.
  • Downed characters can be attacked in various ways.
  • Outstanding replay feature. The last move can be repeated 4-7 times (depending on the speed of the finishing move) in various angles, and then a replay of the last seconds is played in yet another angle. The replay can be slowed down by holding down Circle before it begins.

Female Characters:
  • Aya is an orange-haired student, with her costumes being a sport Chinese dress, a schoolgirl outfit, and a revealing black-leather costume. Her moves are a combination of strong and cunning.
  • Haruko is a businesswoman in her mid 30s, with her costumes being a formal outfit, a ballet outfit, and a black spandex with holes. Her moves are ballet-like, with a small emphasis on pirouettes.
  • Hitomi is a wrestler-type, with her costumes being a bluejean/leopard outfit, a schoolgirl outfit and a red&black wrestling attire. Her moves are inspired by Pro Wrestling and include clotheslines, dropkicks and powerbombs.
  • Aya is the resident redhead, with her costumes being Chinese pants with only bandages covering her upper body, a casual jeans/t-shirt combination, and a short dress. Her moves are deadly in their precision.
  • Manekin is a female manikin who borrows her moves from other players. She looks almost like Dural from Virtua Fighter.
