Before I ask this question, I hate art theft. Thats why im asking this question.

I have to much time on my hands and im trying my hand at filling my own hair request, and I was having trouble mouse drawing hair. (No talent with a tablet either) I had a well made hair by Mineur of Akame, and it had a relatively similar shape to the one I was trying to achieve.
I was wondering if it was ok to:
1: Edit and hue
2: Trace and edit outline

Im assuming no, and If I dont get a reply from a mod or someone trustable I will not trace or edit the hair.
-Thanks

general idea i have seen is that everyone makes content for others to benefit using.
i'd say credit the original artist in the upload and you should be good.

Speaking as a moderator here at Undertow, if you want to redistribute a mod you made of another person's work, it's ALWAYS best to request permission from the originator. If the other person fails to respond within a reasonable time period (such as two weeks), proceed with what you intend, but credit the originator)
If you don't intend to redistribute, I don't see a problem with what you propose.
Very respectfully,
