How many Ryona authors post stories on a regular basis on this forum?
Would you hire an author to write your custom story?
How much should an author charge for a customer story?
Should the cost be tied to the content or length? What do you guys think?

Many professional free-lance writers charge by word count (as in so much per word).
The following is from a 2007 article on writing for a magazine.
If the author is well-know, he could reasonably expect 50 cents per word or more.
For someone starting out, maybe 10 cents (or less) per word.

I had only very briefly considered doing this at the cost of one cent a word, but I came to the conclusion my stuff isn't nearly good enough to charge for. Besides, if I am doing it for money, then I'm beholden to do it a certain way instead of how I want to write it.
