Is it possible to create custom dialogue without creating a .swf file?

Like creating a folder with a dialogue.txt and properly named .mp3 files, which would then be possible to load into the game.

If so, how to do this (or some other way to implement custom dialogue without having to use some flash wizardry)?

I willingly make audio dialogues if you provide me dialogue and audio files in the proper format.

The mod loader did support such a feature, but I don't know about it anymore.

Yeah, I've noticed you do that when I was searching the forum. :)

Though neither me nor the potential voice actresss are keen on showing our work to anyone, it's a private thing y'know.

So, is there no other way? How can I check if it's possible wit the mod loader?

No longer possible with the loader.
I wonder if it would be possible to have a SWF file load dialogue and sounds separately?
    What I mean is:

Dialogue.SWF - loads some mp3s and calls the necessary functions.

Damn. Is making it with a .swf complicated? If so: damn again. If not: how to do it?

You need Flash CS5 or greater.

    Then why make it?

    Is >=CS5 necessary?
Last I checked AS3 compatible worked fine.
But that was only for custom mods....

I'm going by the fact that there are only modding.fla files for CS5 and CS5.5 from Konashion.

I found some nice soundboards that I was going to make some dialogues for using the newb way(using the 2 text files). I couldn't get it to work using the old method so looked through the forums and found this topic. Man what a bummer. What happened between the release of loader 3.8 - 3.9c that broke audio dialogues?

Also, I'm still willing to make audio dialogues if I'm provided the dialogue and audio files.
