How can you import new models into Bloodrayne 2?

Here is one tutorial involving Turfster's Pod3Extractor & Milkshape 3D: Tutorial 1

I know how to reskin character textures. I want to import new models into the game, like you can do with Resident Evil 4. Any time I try to do that the game freezes at the load screen.

Has anyone modded this game? Any help would be amazing!

As I recall, the model format was only partially documented - the result is more or less that existing models can be edited but no new ones can be imported due to lack of any information on how the joint data is saved.
