audio dialogue will not play (1 Viewer)

i am running SDT 1.21.1b, in standalone. i have dialogue checked, and audio on. i am not using any other mods, and i have cleared my cache before trying. now that the tech details are out of the way...

i have the complete archive downloaded, and am trying to use the audio dialogue swf files. none of them seem to work. i get these weird symbols when i check them in the dialogue checker in game (the trigger and what is said editor.) and when i click to play it, i get nothing.

any help or ideas welcome.

If you are loading an audio dialogue through the dialogue box, then you're doing it wrong. Audio dialogues are run successfully in both Vanilla SDT and Loader SDT by loading them by loading it as any other SWF mod.
