Seeing as the Sentinel has been censored and can be argued to appear immature, is it completely safe to read threads that have pictures of nude mods/decensors of Sentinels?

Yes it is.
You should try to open the threads in public computer to prevent that.

The pictures are temporarily stored by your computer's memory when you view posts. They are NOT permanently written to your hard drive unless you tell the computer to save them. I don't know what web browser you use, but most browsers have a setting where you can delete browser history when you close the browser. I suggest you look into making that setting on your web browser.
