Any other PS2 games similar to Nightshade, Death by Degrees, or GITS: SAC? (1 Viewer)

The main similarities between the games if you haven't noticed is that
it features a heroine in a skin-tight spandex suit.

Do any of you happen to know any other PS2 games like this? Especially ones
where the enemies can grab you like Death by Degrees?

2 characters, each in one DVD. it's not a great game but you may like it... i played it a long time ago, so i don't remember anything about grabs.

Aeon Flux game comes to mind, it should have grabs too. From PC games (if PC games are ok?) of that time Bloodrayne 2 and FAKK 2 Heavy Metal (those don't have grabs though).
Also, never even heard of those games you listed except DBD... Any good ryona in those games??

Thanks so much for the recommendations. PC games are alright too.

Nightshade is a sort of sequel to Shinobi. Just started playing it...and I'm sort of
disappointed with the ryona. Primarily being that the camera isn't too close to
the character you're controlling. No grabs whatsoever, despite it being a ninja
game and all. Lots of cuts though...game over scene is nothing fancy, you're
character just drops to the ground and game over shows up.

As for GITS: SAC (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex), I gotta say the
costume on the major is great. No grabs unfortunately, but great sound effects
when she gets injured or so.

you know...I really had no interest in Aeon Flux until the most recent video you uploaded.

The reason why I wasn't too interested at first was because of the suit...it seemed quite
boring/dull. However...I noticed that there 2 other suits featured in the game which were
quite cool.

Do you get those suits after a certain point in the game, or can you choose any costume
right from the beginning?

They're unlocked throughout the game but you can use cheats to use them on whichever stages you want. There are quite a few outfits. My video on Vimeo shows them:

ghost13 - I heard about Oni and have seen it in action.
I guess the only think I'm disappointed about is the costume/
character design. I mean it just seems so ...blocky. But it
does have great ryona. Thanks!

Hey Mardion - ahhh...Crimson Tears. That seems pretty cool too,
but I guess I sort of prefer it if the character did not show much
of her skin and more of the suit just complementing their figure.

@EvilDraconis... you know I've noticed from the ryona vids with
Oni that most of the grabbing are more wrestling-style grabs.
I personally wish more games could be more like death by degrees
with the grabs from behind, grabbing the leg when the character's
about to kick, etc.

maybe Pirates: Legend of the Black Kat. with cheats you can wear shiny one-piece swimsuits or a black bikini with thigh stockings. it is pretty sexy! there are no grabs though. but i think the apes can make you dizzy.

Hmmm, looks like you have a very specific taste, so I'm sorry to say I don't know of any other game that fulfills those criteria. The only one I can think of that comes close is Beatdown : Fists of Vengance, there is a shop which sells several pieces of clothing there, so you're bound to find one that is to your tastes. And yes, the enemies do have grabs ; there is quite a variety in fact.

Do you also consider playing 1-on-1 fighting games if there are female fighters with skin-tight spandex suits?

There's a game called Stolen where you play as a female thief. It's not very good, and neither is the ryona, but its better than nothing.

hey guys sorry for the late response! Was off on vacation for the past 4 days.

Yea I do sort of have pretty specific taste hahaha...sorry about that. I'll definitely
check out Beatdown!!! That looks pretty appealing to me if they have something
in the clothing shop.

As for the 1 on 1 fighters...actually for some reason I don't really consider them...
guess it must have something to do with the side-view. Can't tell if Urban Reign
is like that or...more like Beat Down. But I'll check that out too.

Stolen seems quite interesting - I'll check this one out as well.

Gosh...the one that really would have satisfied me the most would have been
Starcraft Ghost...but that didn't even make it. It'd be amazing if someone had
a demo copy of it somewhere on earth.
