hello im having touble with animtools and loading positions. in edit mode they load fine but when i use the loader and try to bring up the file explorer with f2 it doesnt even pop up. please help

put the settings file in the 'Settings' folder.
if still doesn't work, your keyboard might not be common and you may swap the number in the settings folder. use the 'keys.swf' file to find what number.
or, use the mogpage load button (click the right arrows on the loader tab after loading animtools)
