Perhaps the diamond patterns need to be a different colour? a dark brown perhaps? maybe that's why you don't like it :P

A lot of littles details :

• Enlarged the withe top pattern
• Ad a white outline to the flowers pattern
• Separate the grid into two parts (one white 25% opacity for the top and black 25% opacity for the bottom)
• Changed colors of top pattern, flowers pattern, bottom, diamond ...
• Move the diamond pattern above the bottom grid

This is more detailed. Maybe too much 'cause we can't see every details in game :-\
